Breast augmentation — Services

What Is breast augmentation?

Mammoplasty encompasses all breast surgeries including augmentation, lift (mastopexy), reduction, and their combinations. It is one of the most popular procedures in plastic surgery, helping women achieve their desired breast shape and size, restore volume after breastfeeding, or correct age-related changes.

Dr. Khaustov performs all types of breast surgery using implants from leading global manufacturers (Mentor, Motiva). For breast augmentation, special attention is paid to selecting the optimal size, shape, and profile based on your body frame, chest width, and personal preferences. The placement method and incision approach are chosen individually.

At Figura Clinic in Odesa, the consultation includes 3D result modeling and sizer try-on, allowing you to see and "feel" your future result before surgery. Dr. Khaustov strives to create natural, harmonious breast shape that enhances femininity.

2

Preparation

Comprehensive examination: blood tests, ECG, ultrasound or mammography. Anesthesiologist consultation. Stop smoking and hormonal contraceptives 2 weeks before.

General anesthesia, duration 1.5–2.5 hours. Implants placed via submammary, periareolar, or axillary approach under the muscle or under the gland.

4

Recovery

Compression garment for 4–6 weeks. Arm lifting and exertion restricted for 3–4 weeks. Quick return to daily activities within 5–7 days.

Recovery

After breast augmentation, a compression garment is worn around the clock for 4–6 weeks. Moderate pain in the first 3–5 days is managed with pain medication. Light work can resume after 5–7 days, exercise after 6–8 weeks. Sleeping on your stomach is not recommended for 2 months. Implants "settle" into their final position over 3–6 months. Scars gradually lighten and become barely visible within a year.
