Blepharoplasty — Services
What Is blepharoplasty?
Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure designed to correct the upper and lower eyelids. Over time, the skin around the eyes loses elasticity, leading to drooping, under-eye bags, and wrinkles that make you look tired and older than you feel. The operation removes excess skin and fat deposits while restoring a clear, defined eye contour.
Dr. Khaustov performs blepharoplasty with attention to each patient's individual anatomy. With over 20 years of experience and microsurgical techniques, he achieves natural-looking results without a "surprised" appearance. Incisions are placed within the natural creases of the eyelids, becoming virtually invisible over time.
The procedure can be performed on its own or combined with a facelift or lipofilling for a more comprehensive rejuvenation effect. Figura Clinic in Odesa provides comfortable conditions for both the surgery and recovery.

How the Procedure Works
Consultation
Detailed examination and assessment of eyelid condition, discussion of your goals and expected outcomes. Dr. Khaustov determines the optimal correction technique.
Preparation
Required blood tests and examinations. You should stop taking blood-thinning medications one week before surgery.
Surgery
The procedure takes 1–2 hours under local anesthesia or sedation. Incisions are made in the natural eyelid creases for minimal scar visibility.
Recovery
Cold compresses and rest for the first day. Sutures are removed after 5–7 days. Return to your normal routine within 10–14 days.
Recovery
After blepharoplasty, swelling and bruising around the eyes gradually diminish over 7–10 days. Sutures are removed on days 5–7. Cold compresses and avoidance of physical exertion are recommended for the first 2–3 days. Contact lenses can be worn again after 2 weeks. The final result develops over 2–3 months as all swelling resolves and scars become invisible. Sunglasses should be worn outdoors for the first month.
